Rebecca's Catch
Although she wasn't able to bring the catch home, this bright and brave ten year old would get excited about telling her story. She would say, "Mother wouldn't let me go out alone unless I brought Spear with me. I would go to the only pier that would support his great weight. That day I hooked a large speckled back, and as I was reeling it in, it was swallowed by an even bigger fish..... then my line broke.”
