| I observed
during my stay at the Oudads, that early on in the season a sweet white
flower blooms in the orchard. This flower is edible and can be used in teas
and perfume. It flowers on an unusual plant that grows only with a type
of hardwood fruit bearing tree. The roots of the plant intertwine with the
roots of the tree. It's the only way the plant can get its nutrients. In
return, it accelerates the food intake of the tree, as well as replenishes
the ground more effectively than most modern day fertilizers. |
